Sermon recap
Jesus gives us light and life.
Jesus makes the Father known. His truth searches our judgments and resistance. We receive His gift through faith and learn to live under His direction.
- Jesus is the Light we need.
- Jesus confronts the darkness we defend.
- Jesus gives life to those who follow Him.
Because He is the Light of the World, I can follow Him into life.
Tool · One area and one faithful response
- Let His truth search me. What am I defending, hiding, or needing help to face?
- Listen to Jesus. Read John 8:12–20. What do His words reveal about Him and my response?
- Begin following here. What response will I begin within 24 hours?
Task · Put it into practice
Take five minutes daily to read John 8:12–20 and pray about your named area. Begin one faithful response. At week’s end, ask: How has receiving Jesus’ truth changed my response?
This practice responds to His grace; it does not earn His love.
